There’s a moment in every music video project where the story isn’t in the melody,
but in the empty spaces between scenes.
Today, I’ve been working with still frames that feel almost too quiet—
frames where nothing moves except the air in the room,
where the silence itself becomes the rhythm.
It’s tempting to fill them with action,
but I’ve learned that these pauses carry their own weight.
They are the breath between verses,
the shadow that makes the light visible.
When the final cut plays,
these quiet frames will pass in less than a heartbeat.
But without them,
the heartbeat wouldn’t be felt at all.
